Manager as a player and LaTeX support

Hi,

I want to use it with one more paremeter, manager (who starts the quiz with password access) also be a player! So with this way I want to use it for self-hosted for a educational institute. Is easy to deploy this paremeter? Also I want to ask if is possible to add the LaTeX function to add some maths on the quiz questions. For this deploy I can pay you if you can create this version of Rahoot.

Thanks for your message and for your interest in using Rahoot for an educational institute.

Regarding the manager also being a player: in most real use cases, this role separation is intentional. The host/manager is meant to control the session, while players participate. Even platforms like Kahoot typically don’t allow the host to play as a participant in the same game. Because of that, this feature is not currently planned, as it adds complexity for limited practical benefit.

About LaTeX support for math formulas: this is technically possible to implement. However, if you need is mainly to display formulas in questions, you can already achieve this by inserting an image containing the formula. This is the simplest and most reliable solution at the moment.
