Hi FictionEro folks, I hope you are doing well!
I apologize for having postponed sketching the intro, I've been drowning in more pressing commitments -- but do not worry, I'm keeping an eye on the literature and I'll be ready to do my task ;-)
But let me put a bold & fun proposal on the table: let's meet physically in Rome, 18-20 September, i.e. let's propose a symposium to the annual conference of the Italian Association of Cognitive Science.
The Call for Paper has been published just a bunch of minutes ago, and I know the organisers well enough so I'm pretty sure they'll love the idea of a symposium on our topics: http://aisc2024.istc.cnr.it/?page_id=21
Other/rather than presenting our current common project, I'm thinking about a symposium called e.g. "Social Cognition and Digital agents", where we could discuss our previous jobs related to e.g. uncanny valley and moral psychology (Antonio), fictional reappraisal (@marcosperduti & @DominiqueMakowski), real is the new sexy.
Quoting from the website:

Rome is always beautiful, and I can ensure that AISC conference are pretty lively, both intellectualy (there's a nice mixture of psychologists, philosopehrs, neuroscientists, computer scientists...) & socially (plenty of informal and outgoing people).
Who's up for it? :-D
