  • When working with symmetrically dividing cells, the mother cell ceases to exist upon division and the two daughter cells typically receive a new ID. Currently, this breaks the automatic mother-bud pairing since the mother ID is not present after division. To solve this, implement the following: - A new mode, called `Cell cycle analysis (symmetric)` - When new cells appear, find the best candidate for the sister cell - Search for the mother cell in previous frame

  • One central limitation of ACDC is posed by the fact, that Segmentation and Tracking algorithms can only be run within the same system ACDC is launched from.
