Purpose

This pull request (PR) significantly restructures the information architecture for the BloodHound docs site. It's based on an internal wiki page (see BED-6531).

The overall structure is intended to follow typical BloodHound use:

  1. Get started (what is this, how do I install it?)
  2. Understand the core concepts (attack graphs, privilege zones, OpenGraph)
  3. Collect data (set up collectors, run scans, manage schedules)
  4. Analyze results (explore, query, posture metrics, accept findings)
  5. Manage the platform (users, roles, compliance, security)
  6. Extend and reference (API, integrations, schema, glossary)

These changes are important for improving UX now, while also providing a scalable foundation for product growth and evolution.

Note

  • I also renamed some files and directories to simplify structure. Redirects will be necessary, but I think we should wait until we've been through some more iterations in case we make more changes. It'll be easier to add final redirects last.
  • We will likely need to rewrite some existing content as part of this effort.
