Description
Hi all,
I saw a strange behavior of the new Deconvolution Object-only algorithm (GraXpert 3.1.0rc2): if you look at the resulting image that has been stretched in Gimp (see image 2025-10-14 14_22_37-Screenshot.png), you can see that there is an horizontal and two vertical bands along the edge of the picture that are considerably dark, and also there is an almost rectangular region (top center) where saturation and colors have be been considerably tweaked compared the the surrounding regions; less exaggerated, this effect can be noted also inside GraXpert (see 2025-10-14 14_19_38-Screenshot_Deconvolved_Object-Only.png, see 2025-10-14 14_18_53-Screenshot_Gradient-Corrected.png for parameters applied to BE before deconvolving). I didn't see this behavior in the other three AI based filters (Background Extraction, Deconvolution Stars-only and Denoising).
I send also the original TIFF image (IMG4.tif stacked with DeepSkyStacker) for testing: I've tried to stretch similarly the original image, but I could not see there those artifacts; if you need this image and others to train the AI algorithm, let me know.
The zip file containing the above images is available at

Thanks a lot for your help.
