Possible Archtecture as currenlty it is limited to how "cross compatible" should this be?

Level 1: Just CLI
everything after this will be based on this as there is no reason to make another web based relay (just go to my repos for this)
limitations: VC, how capable is the terminal?, although I'm sure C can do anything Python can, there are some things that would probably be not fun to do with C

Linux vs Windows (no mac support planned)
linux has some capablities that windows will struggle to support (colors, that picture thing that felipe showed me for arch, etc)

Level 2: CLI+Web
How iwll this be capable?
Web users can easily vc (web rtc) but it is much more difficult (and slightly insane looking) to vc on a terminal window

should CLI users have a special tag akin to special features that web uesrs dont and vice versa?
it is MUCH harder to draw cli ui over web
How difficulty will it be to treat the CLI as another client, will there have to be specific server protocols?

Level 3: Arch esc integrations
No this has nothing to actually do with arch so much as people installing arch on random things (someone managed to run arch on a phone)
will this be available in our games? (how will it be possible)
What level of "cross compatible" is this?

1 The terminal is surprisingly capable, I've seen people implement reactive UI systems in it and I even user whatsapp on it for a few months. I'd like using C to implement the things but I can use Python if that's better for the project.

1.1 Windows supports terminal colors (they're standard ANSI color codes, also the windows terminal supports the vt100 standard so the drawing code would be portable, only complicated thing would be fishing out the windows systemcalls needed to put the terminal into "raw mode"). Pictures wouldn't really be needed (we could just open the browser) but the windows terminal supports sixel, shown by using the arch "lsix" command.

2 VC would be possible, but i don't know how the user experience would be like; Profile pictures aren't needed and are just gui sugar, we could adopt IRC unique colors for each username. When receiving data from the server we don't send the full bitmap of the image, so the CLI just doesn't use it. What do you mean by "draw cli ui over web"?

3 Running arch on a phone is trivial-ish because a phone is a real system, with standads and some driver. Having a real arch linux running on a game would be very impractical since we'd need to load the actual linux kernel, emulate an UEFI, have virtual disks, etc. We could have a godot plugin (doesn't even have to be C++, although it would be cool) that mimmicks the linux interface just so we can have something that feels like linux, but isn't actually linux. I was planning to do something similar to implement a custom terminal emulator, without the hassle of having it be reliant on weird linux syscalls.

P.S: Keep in mind i'll be largely unavailable for heavy contributions on weekdays until the first of december, then i'll be done with study and can work full time until march or so

We should probably write some documentation on how we're gonna do the architecture stuff. I've been getting back into LaTeX but I think using Typst would be better since you know a bit about it too, and I can still draw diagrams and stuff.
