stopShowDiffs function only available in dev build

hey,

you suggested to use stopShowDiffs here:
https://github.com/P2Pvalue/swellrt/issues/235

now, it works for the dev build but in the prod build there is no such function. 
Also i did not get what you mean by "text node"...

any clue is very welcome!
