Ralph won't complete

I'm using Claude code with open-ralph-wiggum. The AI is convinced that it is done, and is sending the COMPLETE promise; however, I believe the following tool usage prevents it from being recognized. It seems to be in an infinite loop. I am using npx ralph on Powershell on Windows 10.

On Windows 10 PowerShell, this is often caused by encoding issues or the way PowerShell handles pipe/stream output.

Immediate Fixes

1. Use the suggested hint command
   The framework is explicitly asking for manual intervention. In a separate terminal window, run:

ralph --add-context "The task is actually complete. Please exit now."

This pushes a message into the agent's context window that can override its internal loop.

2. Shift to a POSIX-compatible shell
   PowerShell sometimes mangles control characters or tags in a way that the regex-based "promise detectors" fail. Try running the command inside:

• Git Bash
• WSL
• Command Prompt
