https://github.com/USGS-VIZLAB/hurricane-maria/blob/master/scripts/visualize/visualize.svg_base_map.R - add helpers/notes for locating the new storm for each new viz?
- consider a fancier representation of the storm as a dot of changing size or color, or a cone/polygon of [observed] influence
