[ezmlm] Is there a recommendation replacing ezmlm in U8?

Hi,
we use ezmlm and understood, that it wont work with U8. What can we do with our lists?

ezmlm-guide is gone, since it wont work with U8...

listmonk is rather for newsletter and not for mailing lists, as far as I understood.

Tried installing mailman3 and failed at some point (in the django-config?, resulting in "Mailman REST API not available. Please start Mailman core." -- and understood, that mailman3 will also be broken in U8 atm. anyway...

So suggestions anyone?
