Thank you for your reply! I forked the repository yesterday and have been exploring the project's structure. While I have knowledge of the MERN stack, I’m less familiar with Python web development and AI integration. However, I’m eager to challenge myself and learn gradually.

If there’s a beginner-friendly area or task you think I can start with, please let me know. In the meantime, I’ll continue going through the codebase to understand its flow and will share any parts I feel confident working on.

1. Frontend Improvements:

   • Add loading spinners during processing
   • Implement drag-and-drop file upload
   • Enhance mobile responsiveness
   • Create better error message displays

2. Documentation:

   • Add detailed API endpoint documentation
   • Create setup troubleshooting guide
   • Document common errors and solutions
   • Add JSDoc comments to frontend code

3. Testing:

   • Write unit tests for existing functions
   • Add integration tests
   • Create test documentation

Once you're comfortable, you could gradually move to:

• MongoDB integration (similar to what you've done in MERN)
• Basic Python route handlers (similar concept to Express)

Thank you so much for the detailed suggestions! They’ve been incredibly helpful in guiding me on where to start. For now, I’d like to begin with 2-3 frontend and documentation changes. Additionally, I’m confident I can work on connecting the MongoDB database in a few days.

I do have a couple of concerns I’d like your input on:

1. Pytest Error

When I ran the command python -m pytest, it threw an error for the test_image_processor.py file:
ImportError: cannot import name 'TextProcessor' from 'image_processor' (C:\Users\Rucha\Rucha_ws\Open_Source\SocioSell\image_processor.py). Did you mean: 'ImageProcessor'?

It seems there’s no TextProcessor module in the image_processor file.

• Should I ignore this for now, or would it be better to comment out the module import temporarily?

2. Navbar Design

Regarding the index.html navbar, it currently has three buttons: Upload, Search, and Video.

• If I understand correctly, the Upload and Video buttons both generate a product listing via different mediums (image and video, respectively). Would converting the Upload symbol to an image icon be a good idea? I believe this could help avoid confusion.
• Additionally, would it make sense to reorder the buttons, perhaps placing Search at either the rightmost or leftmost position?

Now, you'll get rid of the error "It seems there’s no TextProcessor module in the image_processor file, " as I have created a new file for processing text.
You can go ahead with Navbar design and raise an issue.
