Unable to install

I'm new to WinMerge, trying to install to a PC / Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
After launching WinMerge-2.16.54-x64-Setup, the installer will not advance past the license agreement screen. Clicking "Next" and "Cancel" results in nothing. Closing the dialogue box (upper right X) cancels the installer.

I tried installing v2.16.52.2 - same behavior.

Any advice will be much appreciated!

We haven't seen this specific issue before. It might be a rare conflict with Windows 11 24H2. Could you try these workarounds?

1. Keyboard: Press Enter instead of clicking "Next".

2. Silent Install: Run the installer from the command line with these flags:

WinMerge-2.16.54-x64-Setup.exe /silent /sp-

3. Portable: Use the .zip version instead of the installer.
