Portal Bug Report – Teleport Delay Not Changing

Every time I make a portal and change the delay/cooldown in the config or portal settings, it still makes me wait before teleporting.
Even when I set the delay to 0 and give myself the simpleportals.bypassdelay permission, there is still a noticeable delay before the teleport happens.

Setup:

Minecraft Version: Paper 1.21.4 and on Minehut

Plugin Version: Simple Portals (version X.X.X) ← (replace with actual version)

Other Plugins: EssentialsX, PvPManager

Things I’ve Tried:

Set teleport-delay: 0 in the config

Gave myself simpleportals.bypassdelay

Set Essentials teleport delay to 0

Set PvPManager disable-teleport: false and teleport-cooldown: 0

Restarted the server completely

Still getting a delay even when not in combat or using commands

Expected: Instant teleport with no delay
Actual: Still delays before teleporting, even with all settings and permissions correct.

Try this fork, it's been updated to change the sound function it uses that causes this halt.
