Some devices (e.g. SIM800L) can be bought with different ram sizes (4/8 MB). How much does this project need?

How much mobile data does it consume?
- Can I change how frequently is the data sent? Does it matter in terms of data usage if the data is sent less frequently in bigger batches or the bulk of the transmitted data is the data itself?

Can it detect if the doors are locked? (it probably depends if my car exposes this information through OBD)

Does it work with ignition off? I'm asking because I have a PHEV, so can it detect if the car is charging?
