The latest release on the "releases" page is long out of date.

The latest release is v0.1.4 (dec 21, 2021). There have been many commits since then.

Currently the ReadMe states as follows:

Go to the releases section and download the plugin.

Suggested fix:

Either publish a new release or update the readme to indicate that users should pull from master, not from release.
