I really like the work Alpheios is doing, especially regarding its support of classical Arabic.

I also like that with this tool I can do alignment from just about any device locally. However, I would like to see some new features being added to the software that make it similar to this website available here:

https://translateabook.com/

I don't think this website does alignment as Alpheios is doing. However, it appears that the translated text is aligned somehow.

The nice features of this website that I'd like to see in Alpheios are:

  • that we are able to import content from a variety of sources - in classical Arabic, the primary text-based distribution of works is via the EPUB format.
  • This website also enables export to multiple other options besides HTML. With Alpheios alignment tools it may be possible to have bilingual EPUB books or .mobi books or even .azw3 books available
  • By having a better editor and possibly later adding some intelligence onto it, a word or phrase can be translated and aligned once, and the software can look at other instances of the same word or phrase in the source text and translate that too, instead of doing it repeatedly and manually.

Alternatively, if you can guide me to another option that can accomplish what that website + Alfeos are doing together via an online solution, that will be awesome.
