Unhandled GraphQL subscription error Error: Error during subscription handshake

Hi folks!

Just trying this project out for the first time and running it in localhost and i get this error:

index.js:1446 Unhandled GraphQL subscription error Error: Error during subscription handshake
    at new ApolloError (ApolloError.js:58)
    at subscription-handshake-link.js:288
    at new Subscription (Observable.js:212)
    at Observable.subscribe (Observable.js:290)

Not sure what the actual real cause of the error is, but figured I would report it.

I debugged and logged out the operation in question:

Update - when i created a second account - the app was usable (the accounts can chat with each other), but the error still occurs.
