It's not an issue report, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your tweaks. I came across your version after creating my Gist at https://gist.github.com/lipusz/83e7dcd4383de2116a932c3be036d693 for similar reasons. 

I've applied your changes to my Chromecast profile and so far, it's working well. 👍
