Image doesn't update on editing Series / Entities until the page is refreshed

• This is due to browser cache, not updating the image. have to dig in more to find optimal solution
• Should not brute force fetching image each time component is loaded.

I’m interested in helping with this issue for a school assignment. From the description, it seems related to browser caching of images after edits.

Can I work on this issue? I’d love guidance on how the team expects the image refresh behavior to work so I can propose a proper fix.

Yeah, If you want you can go ahead and look into this. As you said it is related to browser cache. Cache have to be refreshed when there is editing involved. I haven't looked into what is the best way to do this, yet.

One way is adding a last updated timestamp to Series and appending that as query params to image fetching logic.
