Extending the Element asserter #93

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a way to extend the Element asserter.
Because I need the withContent feature to to trim and escape HTML characters before the comparison.
Is there any way to do that?
The Element asserter instantiation is hard-coded in the Crawler asserter.
Unfortunately I can't extend the Crawler asserter either because it's hard-coded as well.
