sharing a site with expose

My config:

I'm running Laravel Filament 3, disabled my routes as I'm letting Filament handle everything and redirect me straight to the dashboard, so in my Filament AppPanelProvider.php I have:

return $panel
            ->default()
            ->id('app')
            ->path('/')

I also have this in there for hot reloading:

FilamentView::registerRenderHook(
            'panels::body.end',
            fn (): string => Blade::render("@vite('resources/js/app.js')")
        );

I'm having a hard time using herd share

herd share https://app.test --domain=mydomain.com
herd share --domain=mydomain.com

With this I get:

Shared URL:             app.test:80
Dashboard:              http://127.0.0.1:4040
Public HTTP:            http://app.mydomain.io
Public HTTPS:           https://app.mydomain.io

But it redirects me to https://app.test on my phone..

Only thing that works is if I use Expose directly using
expose share https://app.test --domain=mydomain.io

Which gives me:

Shared URL:             app.test:443
Dashboard:              http://127.0.0.1:4040
Public HTTP:            http://app.mydomain.io
Public HTTPS:           https://app.mydomain.io

But with expose my assets, don't load, in my .env I tried

APP_URL=https://app.test
ASSET_URL="${APP_URL}"

I ran npm run build:
