Hierarchical Clustering: replace newlines in annotations #7251

What's wrong?
Sometimes, annotations contain newlines, which results in overlapping labels in Hierarchical Clustering (perhaps elsewhere, too).
It would make sense to a) replace newlines with regular spaces and b) cut the annotation at X characters (only show first X characters).
How can we reproduce the problem?
Use any text data with newlines to annotate instances in HC.
