git lfs is commonly used in CI/CD pipelines and should be available in all derived images.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
You're right — git lfs is widely used, especially in CI/CD workflows. While users can always extend the base image with a custom Dockerfile to include it, I agree it might make sense to consider it as a built-in feature.

I'll take a look at the size impact and evaluate whether it makes sense to include it by default or provide it as a variant.
