GPU modes: 1 sb 32k channel mode needs ~4x spectral dump time than 8 sb 4k channel mode #15
Description
The minimum integration time for the 8 sub-band 4096-channel configuration is 5 ms on spec-hpc-01, writing SDFITS files to disk. Ideally, this should be the minimum integration time for the 1 sub-band 32768-channel configuration also. However, with 5 ms integration time, the latter configuration blocks in sdfits_write_subint(), causing packet drop. The minimum possible integration time becomes 20 ms.
