Would it be possible to add X3 max to the firmware selector?

I own both the x3 and x3 Max and I see how quick and easy it is to download and install the firmware.

Would it be possible to do the same for the Max? They are two identical printers, the only difference is the print volume: 400x400x400.

There is already compatible FW, just use the X3 and set the bed size to 400x400.
There should be settings for this somewhere in the menus.

Unfortunately, this doesn't happen. I've already tried to flash the x3 firmware on the x3 max in the past, but the maximum size you can choose is the one set in the configuration.h file (or adv, I don't remember at the moment), which is 220

you must go to Control > Physical Settings, change the max to 410,410,400. usually you get some extra room to work, then change the bed size to 400x400.

usually the printer will allow a few mm extra to accommodate the Probe.

this part is optional - do this at your own risk! Just because you must be careful not to force anything.

so after setting the bed size (and Max to +10 extra) Auto Home, then go to Prepare > Move and set it to move to 400 (first in X, then Y after), switch to Live Move and turn the knob so it goes to 410. do it slow enough because as soon as it stops moving (making a noise) stop immediately, take note of the measured distance. if it is making more noise like grinding longer than half a second shut it off to avoid damage.

if you do not encounter it stopping or making a noise you can just be done or increase Max physical size.

hope that makes sense.having a larger Y axis Maxed isn't as necessary as X with a probe.
