Description
Hello! I was working in a large project file - 3 orthomosaics sized as the maximum pixel input - and taglab froze. This has happened several times, especially when bouncing between different features, but we have never had issues re-opening. After being frozen for ~10 min and not responding to me trying to force quit the application I restarted the computer. When I went to open the taglab project again I get this error box (image attached). I was not able to see the anacondo prompt while frozen, but when I try to reopen the file I get this message in the anaconda prompt "QGraphicsScene::removeItem: cannot remove 0-item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item
QGraphicsScene::removeItem: cannot remove 0-item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item
QGraphicsScene::removeItem: cannot remove 0-item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item
QGraphicsScene::addItem: cannot add null item"
I can still see my project file in the folder it was saved. Update: noticed just after posting that the project file now has a size of 0bytes.. I assume this means I have lost everything here. I would still like to get to the bottom of the issue/ see if there is a way to recover this?
Please let me know if there is a fix! Running TagLab 2025.6.24
