Error: Unable to locate package cockpit-files #22834
|
I am pretty much a newbie to all this. I installed Cockpit on my Raspberry PI 4B (4GB Ram) running Debian Trixie 13.3 and I am able to access it through port 9090 without a problem. I then tried adding an application with sudo apt install cockpit-files but the response was: Error: Unable to locate package cockpit-files. What am I doing wrong? |

You are doing nothing wrong, it's just that cockpit-files still isn't in Ubuntu proper. I've been trying to get it into Debian for about 2 years now, but fortunately there's finally some movement. In the meantime you can get it from https://launchpad.net/~pitti/+archive/ubuntu/cockpit-files |
