Root password, stopping script and change CTID

📝 Detailed description

1. While you can type your desired root password before script execution, there should be a double check, or at least make that field visible to check if you type the right password. With double check i mean typing the password twice.
2. I execute a script, but I could not find any option to stop the script execution and break everything off.
3. I wanted to change the Container ID, for example, instead of 121, to change it to 240. I did not see any option to do that.

Maybe all the options are there, and I haven't found them, but I am onluy stated what I did not see or what is missing.
Maybe other people already mentioned this. If that is the case, then please close this issue

I think you don't understand what I mean. There is only one field to put in your password. Because it is not visible, people can make mistake and then when you want to log in with root, you can't because you have the wrong password. Most app nowadays comes with a second field where you have to repeat your password, to make sure you don't put in the wrong password. Some apps will allow you to see the password with the Eyesign. In that case, you only need one field. If i dont't use the LXC (PVE Script Local) but copy and paste the script in the Proxmox shell i must put in the root password twice. So what I am saying is already happening in the script when you paste it into the Proxmox shell. Why is it different in the LXC container?

Regarding the already running script. I write it down and will do that when that happens again.

Why is it not a good idea? It already happens when you use the script in the Proxmox shell. I am not asking for something strange or insecure.

It is an option in advanced settings, but can also be done using the variable i just gave you,, it doesn't need to be on the site.

As much as you may want them to the guys really can not hold the users hand any more than they already do with the scripts, there is also extensive documentation on how the scripts work and and made one their github if you want to go and have a read up.
