I'm working on https://github.com/Jesse-V/OnioNS-client but I your project approaches the problem in a different way so most of my code probably won't be useful. I do however have a Stem script in src/assets/ that you may find useful for intercepting lookups. I have plans on porting it to C++11, but for now it's in Python and pretty easy to see.
