The namco System 256 is an arcade system based upon the PlayStation 2 architecture.

In order to shrink the motherboard and connection ports, Sony allowed the system 256 to be built recycling the PSX DESR memorycard board, and the dualshock ports were removed, replaced with a JST plug

I dont own a system 256, I own the 246, wich still has the PS2 FAT Ports. just collected the info and decided to share

I'll ask in some forums if someone has used it
