Saturn Keyboard mode only registering a single key press when key is held down

When using an official Saturn keyboard or adapter, when a key is held down, the system registers repeated presses (normal keyboard behavior). However, with Blueretro only a single key press is registered when a key is pressed. Holding a key down doesn't cause repeated inputs as I would expect. Is this an oversight or could it just be my keyboard?

My keyboard is a Keychron K2. I'm on firmware 25.04. I have preset set to default gamepad/keyboard and output 1 set to keyboard. I have tested using Saturn Planetweb 3.0.
