WILL NOT WORK #53

@Fabian2611

While this script is not malware, it has a close to 0 percent chance of working. There are 26 Letters, each in upper and lowercase, plus the 10 digits, amounting to 62 different symbols.
Thus, with a code length of 24, there are
62^24 ≈ 1.04 * (10^34)
possibilities.

In 2023, Discord made 207 Million USD with Nitro codes. We can approximately say:

  1. If all subscriptions were Full Nitro ($99.99/year):
    207,000,000 USD / 99.99 USD ≈ 2,070,000 subscriptions
  2. If all subscriptions were Nitro Basic ($29.99/year):
    207,000,000 USD / 29.99 ≈ 6,900,000 subscriptions

The real value will be somewhere between this; in benefit of the doubt we choose the larger number of 6.9 Million subscriptions. Most of them are redeemed either instantly or very quickly; we are again, in doubt, assuming every bought nitro subscription actually generates a valid code, ignoring the fact that some transactions, e.g. via the discord app, are instant and do not produce a gift code.

We can in good faith assume that a code lasts on average for a day (and this is probably way over the actual average). Thus, at any given time, there are approximately
6,900,000 / 365 ≈ 18900
valid nitro codes.

We can now easily calculate the chance of guessing a single code; it is just 1 over the amount of possibilities we calculated earlier. We then multiply this chance with our number of valid nitro codes at a given time, to recieve the chance of guessing a valid nitro code:
(1 / 1.04e+34 ) * 18900 ≈ 1.8e-31
This is a chance of approximately 0.00000000000000000000000000000018 = 0.000000000000000000000000000018%.

Assuming you have a beefy computer and amazing internet and a perfect proxy which can check 1000 codes in a second (this is a severe overstatement, on my device I could check a maximum of 30 codes per second, limited by my internet speed), you could do
3600 * 24 * 1000 = 86400000
operations in a day, you would have a chance of
1 - ((1 - 0.00000000000000000000000000000018)^86400000) ≈ 1.56e-23,
or 0.00000000000000000000156%, for finding a valid nitro code within 24 hours.
In other words, after 100 years, you have a chance as solid as 0.0000000000000000057% of having found a nitro code.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

TL;DR:

It is statistically impossible that you find a nitro code using this script in your lifetime. Or your children's. Or their children's.
