Supporting i40e 2.18.9, 2.2.0.12+ drivers ! #3
Description
I have Intel X722 and Ubuntu 18.04 x64 LTS with 5.4.0-122 kernel.
Can you correct your i40e-dkms o support Intel drivers of 2.18.9, 2.20.12+ ?
I tried o build and always go error:
ERROR: "__auxiliary_device_add" [/var/lib/dkms/i40e/2.20.12/build/i40e.ko] undefined!
ERROR: "auxiliary_device_init" [/var/lib/dkms/i40e/2.20.12/build/i40e.ko] undefined!
scripts/Makefile.modpost:93: recipe for target '__modpost' failed
make[1]: *** [__modpost] Error 1
Makefile:1675: recipe for target 'modules' failed
make: *** [modules] Error 2
But if to correct Makefile and common.mk for scripts path, and do simply make (manually) all is built.
