No email notifications are sent since the update to version v1.13.1

Since the latest update, I no longer receive email notifications when a form is submitted. The customer also no longer receives email notifications with the attachments.

The same issue occurred with a second hosted installation. I assume it's related to the recent update.

STARTTLS not supported, but this feature works for the new update. can you help?

@mkloppe change your SMTP settings to use TLS security if your SMTP server supports it - /settings/email.
If your SMTP is under private network and doesn't require TLS/SSL - select "noverify"

i have tried all settings and different methodes. it not works, i will get everytimes the same error:
STARTTLS is not supported on this server

this message comes also this smtp port 25.

please note: before the last docuseal update it works perfect. do you really think, this is a setting problem, not a problem with the new version?

@mkloppe a fix for "noverify" will be released on Monday, regardless you might need to use SSL/TLS if you're using your custom SMTP server over a public network

Hi. The email address supports all variants, including SSL/TLS.

Hi @omohokcoj i have the new update installed v1.13.2, but the same problems.
every port (25, 465, 587) not work with every settings: startttls, tls, ssl, noverify.

can you help?

@mkloppe are you using Cloudron with Cloudron managed SMTP server?

@omohokcoj Yes, i use Cloudron. Before you showed me the settings under /settings/email, I didn't know about this page and it wasn't filled out. So, previously, emails were being sent directly through Cloudron, presumably.

Should I delete everything under /settings/email so that the normal email function works again?

@mkloppe latest docuseal app version has STARTTLS enabled by default but Cloudron SMTP doesn't support STARTTLS.
Add SMTP_ENABLE_STARTTLS=false app env variable to disable STARTTLS.

@omohokcoj I am the maintainer of the cloudron package. Thanks for the hint, I have fixed our package and made a new release. I guess this issue can be closed.
