As discussed in this issue, translators may be encoded in the <titleStmt> with <editor role="translator">. However, in the frontend, only authors are displayed. For instance, see the translations of Euripides' and Sophocles' plays in NeoLatDraCor. From my point of view, it would be good to also display the translators, especially in corpora that are not only dedicated to translations.
If the encoding <editor role="translator"> was our recommendation, e.g. in the ODD, we might display translators together with authors automatically and uniformly.
