Critical Telegram Bot Fix

Issue Root Cause Fix
Bot unresponsive Duplicate lock acquisition caused infinite loop on Windows Removed redundant acquire_instance_lock() call (was called twice)
Polling conflict Multiple bot instances fighting for Telegram API Single lock pattern with proper cleanup

Technical Detail: Windows msvcrt.locking doesn't allow a process to lock the same file twice. The bot was attempting to acquire the same lock at lines 228 AND 330, causing the second attempt to loop forever.

Sentiment State Persistence

Local Claude Code with Ollama (Free + Offline)

JARVIS can be paired with Claude Code running against local Ollama models (no cloud API calls). This is ideal for coding workflows that must stay fully offline.

  1. Install Ollama (0.14.0+) and pull a coding model:
    ollama pull qwen3-coder
  2. Start Ollama:
    ollama serve
  3. Install Claude Code, then point it at Ollama's Anthropic-compatible endpoint:

    export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=http://localhost:11434/v1
  4. Run Claude Code against the local model:

Tip: If you also want JARVIS to use the same local model, set OLLAMA_URL=http://localhost:11434 and OLLAMA_MODEL=qwen3-coder in your .env. JARVIS also honors ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to route Claude calls (bots, tools, and codegen) through Ollama. Remove ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to return Claude Code to the hosted Anthropic API.
