Issue after upgrading ETH Mainnet Archive Node to v3.0.0-beta1

Yesterday, I attempted to upgrade my ETH Mainnet archive node from v2.61.0 to v3.0.0-beta1.

I deleted my chaindata directory and adjusted the new Caplin parameters accordingly. After Ottersync completed downloading the latest snapshot, it now throws a runtime error and keeps restarting.

you need a full resync. it is not upgradeable

What exactly is meant by full resync? Unfortunately, I couldn't find this term in the documentation.

Does full resync refer to deleting the entire /data folder? Or is it sufficient to delete only the data/chaindata folder?

I'm asking because I'm running Caplin in archive mode with blobs and without pruning.

On a test instance, a resync is already running with an empty data folder. However, it is very slow:
