Is there a solution to add bluetooth_proxy: and esp32_ble_tracker: as features to the HA VPE?

As it is an ESP32-S3 it has Bluetooth an would be an great feature for it

I think they have been memory and/or CPU time limited. However with the recent optimisations to bluetooth in 2026.03 I wonder if this is feasible?

Is there any hope that the optimisations to bluetooth in 2026.03 might mean theres enough room to run it alongside everything on the voice PE?

I was experimenting with this extensively. CPU/performance wise there is no problem anymore. Unfortunately, we run out of internal memory when Bluetooth is enabled and can't support all current functionality; e.g., stream music mixed with an announcement while also letting the http update for new firmware actually run. I tried pushing everything possible into PSRAM, but certain things just can't be put there, and we run out of internal memory.

It's possible we can get there eventually, but it will require more changes to the audio stack to avoid heap fragementation as well as adjusting more components to use PSRAM whenever they can.
