We got CFI’d for Glamsterdam! This is a great opportunity to acknowledge all the support from the community and the researchers and developers who have been working on FOCIL.

But it’s not over until we ship it. Let's keep pushing FOCIL to make sure it doesn’t delay Glamsterdam more than necessary.

Development

Two main tasks are ahead of us: rebasing onto Fulu and reflecting changes in the queue for engine APIs. As the engine API changes are breaking changes and no further breaking changes are expected to be required to merge FOCIL onto ePBS, we will proceed with those two changes in one go.

Testing

Tests that are independent of the upcoming rebases will be added such as IL committee assignment and IL processing logic including equivocation handling. These will be done in parallel with implementation updates.

FOCIL Metrics

• Katya is having an internal team review of her beacon metrics work and will share a HackMD article by the end of this week.
