include satellite data availability?

Will EUREC4A metadata be linked to all data available on AERIS? Meaning that it will also cover certain satellite products, e.g. GOES-R, Sentinel2, ASTER?
If so, the amount of further available satellite data products could be overwhelming. It could be nice to add metadata as soon as people use a certain dataset and are willing to add the dataset information to the overall collection of EUREC4A metadata in form of available files / tiles or overpass times from a certain satellite instrument.

@tmieslinger The meta-data concept is still evolving a bit and we are for the moment more focused on measurements in the field than for the satellite data. Thus the focus on platforms, instruments, etc. The metadata for satellite data might overlap but wouldn't need to be identical.
