Lists in "Open lists" and sections in "Project info" #284

@FLazzerini

Description

@FLazzerini

@matteodifranco and I noticed some issues with the lists displayed in the section "Open lists" (top-right corner).
In our XML documents, in the teiHeader, we have 3 lists:

  • homines docti (<listPerson>)
  • bibliography (<listBibl>)
  • manuscripts and editions (<listWit>)

Currently, only the <listPerson> is displayed and with some bugs which I will list below.
First of all, I will say that we don't think that it would be a good idea for the <listWit> to appear here: both Matteo and I have too many witnesses (Lucullus has 74 manuscripts plus 24 editions), it would just be illegible, possibly very heavy for the software to process, and not even useful for the user. EVT seems to have been designed to host the description of the manuscript (<sourceDesc>) in a section inside "Project info", which at the moment is empty:

This could work well with works with one witness only, as in the case of the manuscripts from the project "Manoscritti preziosi del Piemonte" encoded for EVT 2:

But, again, we don't think it would be sustainable with multiple witnesses such as Matteo and I have. So this does not seem like a good section to host the witnesses either.
I will let @matteodifranco clarify in a separate issue (#278) how we think the witnesses should be displayed.

The other lists, on the other hand, would be useful to be displayed and well in order.

<listBibl> is not visible at the moment. We noticed that there is a section named "Bibliography" in a different section of the page, "Project info", which is empty:

I don't have a preference about where in the application the bibliography should appear (here or in "Open lists"), either is good in my opinion. But it would be good to have it somewhere.
Keep in mind that (at least for Lucullus) many of the bibliographic items have <ref>s inside with cross-references to the named persons. We noticed that <ref> is often not processed well and this is a problem also for other sections of the page.

As for the <listPerson>, they are displayed, but with bugs. This feature worked better in EVT 2.
Currently, if we open the list "homines docti" in Lucullus, we see this:

There is no way to navigate the whole list alphabetically, as was possible in EVT 2 (again a screenshot from the Manoscritti preziosi del Piemonte):

Instead, the user has to use the search bar to enter a letter and then find names. This is not convenient.
Another bug: the list does not show any occurrences for the named entities, even though we definitely have named them in the critical apparatus:

Another bug: as I mentioned above, <ref> is not processed well. Some of our named persons are interconnected with editions or other persons or bibliographical items, and I used <ref target> each time. For example:

This reference in the xml is not processed and not displayed:
