What happened?

In single player mode, the player is punished by having an amount subtracted from their score if an animal is killed (oxen or bird). This behavior is also present in multiplayer mode, but it's always player 1 that is punished, even if it was player 2 that killed the animal.

What did you expect should happen?

Blame ought to be assigned appropriately.
