Support for xUnit v3

xUnit v3 is the replacement for the currently used xUnit v2.
Since xUnit v3 was officially released at the end of 2024, many projects are starting to migrate. At the moment, TickSpec does not seem to support xUnit v3.

• Is support for xUnit v3 planned?
• If not, would you accept contributions in this area?
• Additionally, is the project still actively maintained?

Hi,

I currently do not have capacity to do any major contributions to the project. But I am more than happy to support anyone who is willing to contribute and ensure that any contribution gets properly merged and released.

So, if you are willing to add support for xUnit v3, then that is the best way to move forward. That should be relatively simple (hopefully), as you can just create a new wiring in a separate nuget package.

I mainly wanted to ask whether contributions in this area would be accepted. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to work on this myself right now.

Still, it’s good to know that contributions would be welcome - maybe someone else in the community is interested in taking this on.
