Issues with Saving Trace

I recently did a session at a venue where i thought I was saving all the traces from QTTiny,

I found in review that the when i changed frenqincies it did not create a new file or perhaps the saved traces were false reporting.

Its possible I am not correctly using the function but I have a couple of questions.

Is the resulting CSV the same as a?:

• TinySA (RAW SD Card) Trace
• TinySA PC App Trace
  I ask as I am curious about using directly with SoundBase and RF CoOrdination and IMD tool

Is it possible to just save the MAX Trace? (like if my RBW is higher so i need time to fill out the trace and I only want a single capture of this "more Complete View" )

Could there be a button? (like on the hardware) "Capture Max", "Capture Adverage"

When you change the freq, it should restart scanning and then save files with the new values.

The CSV files continuously saved whilst QtTinySA is running, using the "save to CSV" option in preferences, are the same as the QtTinySA traces, i.e. the processed data from the hardware in dBm and the frequencies for each point are a linearly spaced array matching the start/stop freqs and number of points. I have never looked at the SD card CSV files.

It is also possible to one-off manually save the traces from the graph, by right-clicking and selecting 'export'. These will contain the max/min/average/normal data if those are showing on the screen. This export can also be set as "Shure Wireless Workbench CSV" format, or in "Sennheiser WSM CSV" format.

The next version of QtTinySA will have a record/playback feature and this is in the development branch already although I have not yet fixed all the bugs. This stores its data in .npy format.
