I installed gemini cli and extensions today (for the first time) using current readme instructions, updating for nano banana pro (environment variable). I authenticated with Google AI ultra plan through browser.

I get this when launching gemini cli, and when using /generate command I get "The generate_image tool was not found"

Also, when running with gemini --debug, I get "Attempt 1 failed: You have exhausted your capacity on this model"

If the issue matches the title, check #13 (comment) — it worked in my case.

The screenshot shows "You have exhausted your capacity on this model". It seems a quota issue, so try again after some time.

I should be under quota (I'm only doing a couple of image generations per day on an AI Ultra plan). Just tried again, still same issue.
