"CredentialContainer request is not supported" login error with Firefox #63433

Hello All, Last week I started getting the following login error with a self-hosted Teleport...
The situation is not as described in #39719 as I do have several MFA methods setup. As a fallback, the Authenticator App option does work in Firefox. The Passkey/Security Key login method works in other browsers without issue (Chrome & Edge attempted). I have tried a few things including ensuring FF is updated, clearing cookies, turning off enhanced tracking protection for the page and fiddling around with webauth settings, but nothing worked. There have been no recent updates on the Teleport cluster side. No Firefox extensions have been recently installed or removed and I have very few installed, just Bitwarden and Disable Javascript (not enabled on the page). I am using FF 147.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows. Teleport (cluster) 17.7.7. Has anyone seen this issue and discovered how to resolve it? Thanks, Rhys |

Same here, tested on a clean install of Firefox 147.0.2 (aarch64) on MacOS Sequoia 15.5 (no extensions at all). Works well on Chrome and Safari, multiple MFA methods set up. |

I had the same issue on Firefox 147.0.3 with Tuxedo OS. A downgrade to Firefox 147.0.1 solved it for me for now |
