I've just loaded the solution from Peony.zip to Visual Studio 2019 and tried to compile it without no changes. It doesnot compile. I tried all ways to fix it, for example https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/148652/a-lnk2005-error-occurs-when-the-crt-library-and-mfc-libraries-are-link, it doesnot work in your project. Please help.

You have to change the architecture of the release/debug from x64 or whatever to x86.

but anyways this is project no longer bypass winindows defender.

This code is a very old example shellcode loader that has long been surpassed by newer methods, it was included as an example to show how trivial it was to bypass windows defender at the time using simple tricks. The code can easily be re-written with new methods and is kept alive for educational use only.
