Desired feature/enhancement

When starting haddock3, the version is printed to the log file.
This however does not reflect the real version running, but only the name of the last release.
It would be nice to add the hash code to the log file.

The user was using pip install haddock3 and running into a problem of undefined parameter. The log file reports version 2025.05.
Installing from the source code directly solves the issue (but the reported version is the same).
