BoxPro+ can't connect to hidden WiFi network

I'm not able to connect to my home WiFi since it is hidden, i.e. SSID is not broadcasted.
As soon as it is made visible, i can connect.
When WiFi is hidden, it just shows: Wifi Searching

I tested the WiFi functionality by making a guest wireless network and I was able to stream video through SSH tunnel to my friend.
Only problem is, the case where SSID is not being boardcast, in other words a hidden WiFi. Just stuck on WiFi: Searching message in the goggles.
I tested the 2.4g network hotspot on my samsung phone, with just switching hidden wifi on/off makes the difference of not able to connect when hidden.

With my main router, i was able to connect at 2.4ghz when SSID was being broadcast. I ran ping to the IP of the goggles.
They pinged fine, until the WiFi is made hidden and the SSID stops being broadcast, ping stops at this point, and resumes when SSID is again broadcasted.

I'm currently at rev 20250715 firmware.

Confirmed with HDZERO_GOGGLE-75-205-9.5.0-6aae295.bin on original goggle.
This requires investigation to identify root cause.

With SSID broadcast disabled at Access Point when goggle starts WiFi:Searching is reported indefinitely. Once AP SSID broadcast is enabled the goggle will make a connection pretty quickly and transition to report WiFi:$SSID. If AP SSID broadcast is then turned off again connection is lost but goggle will remain erroneously reporting WiFi:$SSID. Shortly after re-enabling AP SSID broadcast goggle connection will again resume.
