Companion app stops receiving notifications after 49 messages

Description of problem, include YAML if issue is related to notifications:

If you receive 49 notifications without clearing them, notifications are no longer received. Clear the existing notifications and they start working again.

Prior to the fix, there was no limit, at least not one that I hit but it was well over 50.

Did you recently update your Android device? This sounds more like an Android limitation than an app limitation - there's no hard limit in the app.

(I'm assuming you haven't reached a rate limit and the notifications are actually received by the app, just not shown; you can check in Settings > Companion app > scroll down to Notifications.)

This version is prior to the double notifications issue and fix, as that issue relates to the beta app and you're using an older, stable version.
